This Magazine Style special viewer option, is pulling the ten most recently uploaded images from the FortrisGallery application, and putting them in a familiar and fun "page turning" interface.

Just click on any page corner and "pull" it over like you are turning the pages of a magazine. You can also double click on any page corner to automatically jump to the next page or the previous page.

The image's "title" is being used as a caption in this case, and the images can be from any visible category.

Naturally, because this is a special viewer option, any images that have been uploaded with the FortrisGallery application can be made to appear in the viewer. For example, images from only one particular album can be used instead.

There are no limits to the number of "pages" in the catalog, but it's best to keep the upper limit to around 20 or 30. This is a relatively "media heavy" component and too many pages may make viewing the album slower, and more tedious. As with all the FortrisAdmin applications, we strive to make the online experience easy and accessible for everyone.

Special Viewer Options

Once you have uploaded your images using our FortrisGallery admin area, many viewing options become available. Standard viewing options can be set by you at any time in the admin area. One of those standard viewing options can be seen by clicking the Main Gallery Page link on this page.

A "Special Viewer Option" or display option, is usually a custom Flash based component, and contains some type of automatic or interactive motion and image transition effect. Flash based components are not included with the FortrisGallery application. They can be added to any site on a build-to-order basis, for a small additional fee. Because every site is different, Flash based components require quite a bit of extra time and attention to set up. The selected components) will be styled to match your site's look, feel, and available dimensions.

What Are Some of the Different Options?

Any "Special Viewer Options" for your FortrisGallery application will be discussed before installing the application and integrating it into your site. Many people have asked "can I see a demo of all the options?" The short answer is, no... not "all" of the options. Basically, the sky is the limit, and we can do whatever it takes to deliver that extra bit of "wow" to your site. If you have some specific ideas of what you'd like to see, please let us know!

Do I Need A Special Viewer Option
to Use SpotGallery?

No, not at all. The two are completely separate. The SpotGallery application comes with many great viewing options built-in. Just click on the "Main Gallery Page" link to see one of those options. Once in the SpotGallery admin area, click on the "General Display" link to see all of the available standard display options.
