About FortrisCalendar
FortrisCalendar is an event and content management application that allows you, the site owner to add, edit and delete events and schedules to a calendar which is displayed on your site. The online administration area is very easy to use, and no advanced knowledge of programming or web design is necessary to add events to your site.
FortrisCalendar Features
 Our calendar application can be tightly integrated into your site using three different display types, a full page standard grid display that shows all events for any given month, a list based agenda display that shows all events between two periods, and our quick preview display which can be set up in list or grid view.
The calendar features single-day and multi-day event spans so that you don't have to enter the same event multiple times. Just enter the start date, and ending date, and FortrisCalendar will take care of the rest. Recurring events also only have to be entered once, so that (for example), if there's a meeting on the first Monday of every month, you only have to enter the date, and tell FortrisCalendar to repeat the event on the first Monday of every month for an entire year. FortrisCalendar will add all 12 events to your calendar.
Event Driving Directions and External Site Links
In cases where you'd like to provide your site visitors with driving directions to an event, FortrisCalendar provides an area to do just that. Additionally, any event directions you may add, can also be set to automatically link to MapQuest, GoogleMaps, and Yahoo!Maps at your choosing, where your site visitors can get driving directions to your event.
Each event you add also has a dedicated external link field, that can be set to link to an external web page. For example, if your annual picnic was to be held at a state park, you may want to provide a link to the National Park's web site, so that visitors can get a better idea of the amenities available. The possibilities are endless, and great care has been taken to insure that there's a way to display the information you need to, for each event and date that you add to your site's calendar.

This Month's Events
Your site visitors can get a quick look at what's going on this month with our mini grid calendar display.
Just roll over a date with your mouse, and see all the events scheduled for that day, below the mini calendar grid. Click on a date to jump to the full event details page.

What About Uploads or Related Files?
With FortrisCalendar, you can upload a related document or file for any event, so that if you have a registration form or application that is needed for any particular event, you can upload that document in the administration area.
How About Images?
You can also upload an image with any given event, so if there's a photo, event logo, or map (for example) it can be added to the event in the administration area.
To make the best use of space for your site visitor, any uploaded material will only appear on the "event detail page", which you can get to by clicking on any date displayed on the calendar.
